Please show some leadership and get us out of there. Why should we still be asking our soldiers to die for a mistake?

Dear Senator Kerry,

My son has left the Marines recently after 8 years service. He is very concerned that his friends still in the military will be asked to kill or be killed in Iraq, when the only purpose our troops are serving there is to justify the lives already lost. The civil war our presence has provoked would be best dealt with by United Nations peacekeepers, not U.S. troops.

Please show some leadership and get us out of there. Why should we still be asking our soldiers to die for a mistake? You asked the right question about Vietnam. You need to ask the same question now.
