My husband died last year, I'm terribly disabled with multiple sclerosis, and have been making arrangements to move near my son's base

January 14th, 2006

My husband died last year, I'm terribly disabled with multiple sclerosis, and have been making arrangements to move near my son's base so that he can help me, and frankly I need him badly right now.  I'm on my last nerve trying to take care of things myself and of course $600 monthly SSI just doesn't cut it.

So, knowing all this, the military is sending my only child to Iraq. Never mind all the time and money we've spent trying to get me moved; doesn't matter much to the Pentagon that this will set me back years. They just couldn'y wait 6 months so we could fix my situation. Why the hell should I be forcing laughter, especially when they're sending him to Camp Bucca, where he will be guarding prisoners and providing security for convoys?

Of course, this pretty much is in line with this administration"s "Don't worry, be happy" theme as they loot, plunder, and murder their way to wealth.

S--ts and giggles to all of them,
J M
