In response to the 1/12/06 Go Ahead, Laugh article written by Gregg Zoroya:

Having buried my husband's Army son, I assure you there is nothing funny about war.  Absolutely nothing.  Laughter may ease some types of pain but not a grieving parent's.  To expect a military family to joke about their circumstances is simply disrespectful and wrong.  A complete lack of experience and empathy, in my opinion.
