Letter from a widow

January 10th, 2005

Dear Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld,

I am a member of the WA Army National Guard, a member of Military Families Speak Out, and of a more personal nature, a widow as a result of the war in Iraq.

I am writing to encourage you to meet with the other families who have lost a loved one and are members of MFSO seeking to speak with you the week of January 17-21st. A man of integrity who wishes to honor the American soldiers who have died in Iraq would at the very least, meet with and speak to the families of those soldiers. I believe it is in your best interest, as a representative of our nation's military, to acknowledge their right as American citizens to know the truth.

Please contact the co-founders of MFSO or Cindy Sheehan as soon as possible to arrange the time and place for meeting during the week of Inauguration. Their contact information follows.

Sincerely,
Angela Blickenstaff
